Pictures

Here are the pictures of how the feedings of solids go.

The first bite: "Oh boy! What do you have for me to eat?"
The second bite: "I'm not eating any more!"

So I have been reading what Dr. Spock says about feeding. And let me tell you, I'm more confused than ever. He said to do fruit first, because babies love it. However the peanuts doctor said NEVER do fruit first because then they won't like vegetables. I feel like everything Dr. Spock says to do my doctor says NOT to do. How frustrating.

I still say he will be in first grade with his bottle!

That is funny I have never read any Dr. Spock yet I said the same thing fruits first are how I did it. Or if you would like you can do one fruit and one veggie at same time. Like do abite of fruit then wait let it get in and down and try a bite of a veggie. he will probably still give you a little hesitation on veggie but when he realizes he will get another bite of fruit next he may grow to like it more.

Even if it's only one bite a day, at least he's trying food. He's obviously gonna be a leader -- not a follower. That could be a good thing! Maybe you can glue some bling onto his bottle and put it on a necklace and nobody will know what it is in 1st grade. Hang in there. ~~ Amy (oaks)

Give him veggies first, just cause. That's my vote.
