We have these odd tuffs of grass all over the backyard. Any idea what they are? My hubby thinks they might be crab grass.

This is popping up all over the front flower beds. I'm thinking it is some sorta weed. Should I pull all it out?

We had a great time at the zoo and the weather was great!

Ms. Smoke was having a grand old time on the ground.

Until she got the idea that she should climb the pole and have a real meal.
However, because of all the rain the pole was very slick. So she got all the way up, and then slid all the way down. Poor Ms. Smoke.
Ms. Smoke ate a bit longer and then headed home. She said she would be back later!

We are so thankful that we have a yard to watch our furry friends in! I love having a house!
P.S. Donnie and I took 72 pictures tonight of this event. Be happy we did not post all of them!

I wanted to have pictures done for a few reasons. One, I wanted to use them for new address cards, open house cards, and our Christmas newsletter. Also, I want to change the banner on my blog to one of these pictures. However, that won't be for a while, because the lady that made my header before is taking a couple weeks off right now. How can she do this to me? hehehe

She even took pictures of us and our babies, Wilber and Timpleton! They are famous now!
These pictures were all taken by The Shooting Gallery Photography. Check out the website here! As you can see she does AWESOME work!
So the computer that we have (well...its really Donnie's) has been flaky for a while now. Working, and not working when ever it pleases. The funny thing is that I think the computer issues where more upsetting to me than Donnie.

One thing that brings me great joy in life, is making a big deal out of little holidays. Yesterday was a great example of this. My mom invited Donnie and I over for dinner yesterday and it was great. We had potatoes, cabbage, clover rolls, and some sorts Irish meat. Being the non meat eater I have no idea what it was.

This is Donnie enjoying our very first meal at our house! We ordered pizza (for me) and wings (for Donnie).

A couple days after we moved in we got a big snow, and of course we had no shovel. Donnie had to go to Home Depot to get a shovel.
Here are some pictures of our color choices. The colors look really funky on this computer. I hope they are not like this on yours! In the computer room, on three walls we did a light purple, and on the last wall we painted dark purple. I really like how this room turned out.

In the bedroom we did three walls light blue, and one wall a darker blue. I'm not sure how I feel about these colors.
The living room is a orangeish pinkish color. Donnie calls it adobe. (as in Native American not photoshop)
I would invite you all over for a visit. But the place is still a MESS. Maybe in another month. Have a great weekend!
