Flowers?

To me, one of the most exciting things about having a house is the fact that you can plant! When we moved into our house I was all ready to buy massive amounts of bulbs and plant them in our flower beds. However, I was talking with my mom and she told me that I should wait, and see if anything comes up. This thought made me very excited. So every day, now that's its been a bit warmer, I have been out in the flower beds looking for growth. And you know what? I saw something!!!!!

My only question now is...what is it? If anyone has any ideas, let me know! I can't wait to find out what it is!!!! If its a weed, I'm going to be very upset.

In other news..I went to the thyroid doctor today. Not so fun. He told me that I need to have the left side of my thyroid taken out. How unfun is that? He did some more blood work, and I have to go back and see him in about a week. Then we will set up the surgery date. I'm not really looking forward to this.

Seeing how much everyone is enjoying the house pictures, I thought I would add a couple more today!

Hey Stacey-this is Kim Burton from Church of the King:) ...friends with Anne Marie and Elizabeth Foote...

I know that you're a teacher (I am too), so I thought that maybe you'd know someone who might be be looking for a job. I teach 4th grade at a charter school in Hamtramck and my partner (the other 4th grade teacher) just got fired....so we are looking for a quality person who would love to teach 4th grade in Hamtramck!

Let me know if you know of anyone!
